You had a homebirth...is HypnoBirthing® having your baby at home? Because I could never do that! |

I support all safe birthing options, however, HypnoBirthing® has nothing to do with homebirth. HypnoBirthing takes place at home, in birthing centers and in hospitals. HypnoBirthing practitioners are respectful of all of the birthing options available to the families they serve. My goal is to ensure women and babies have the information they need to have a great birth no matter which provider or birth location they choose. HypnoBirthing® really works! Check out the photo gallery on this site and read the testimonials at on the official HypnoBirthing® website. Does that mean every birth will be exactly like? Of course not. There are too many variables in birth to know exactly what your birth will be like. But, with HypnoBirthing® you can be assured it will be your own best birth! |

No one can hypnotize you against your will...including yourself.! A hypnotist only facilitates the process. Because all hypnosis is essentially self-hypnosis, you are the only one who can determine if it will ‘work’ or not. If you are willing and you desire change, you will go into hypnosis. |

NO. This misconception comes from stage hypnosis. When hypnosis is used for entertainment, indeed people seem to say and do things that some might find embarrassing. But the hypnotist has volunteers who are deemed to be not only highly suggestible, but people who might be willing do the same sorts of things if they had a few drinks. |
